The text on all three looked blurry, particularly in the tagline above the title and the billing block.
Neither of these look too great at full size.
My mistake, feel free to reupload the 1280x1920 one.
It may just be the lightning of the shot, but the area around his face looked pixel-y, especially in the larger images.

I guess what I really meant was, did the images just need further downscaling?

I would try downscaling the backdrops to 1920x1080.
