The title was previously changed from "心灵捕手" to "骄阳似我" by a mod. Then to "心理捕手" by another mod. And a user changed it back to "心灵捕手".

I don't see any source for the Chinese title. I also do not see a theatrical release date for China (only Taiwan and Hong Kong) or any original Chinese artwork. How/when was the film first released in Mainland China?

“心灵捕手” was used in both Baidu baike and Douban movie, which are 2 of the most popular website that provides related information. I am sure that guy who changed the title to “骄阳似我” is not a Chinese.

This movie was from 1997, by the time then, it didn't get release in Chinese theatre. That's why you didn't find and date. Actually, it's never been released in Mainland China. However, trust me, “心灵捕手” is the title, Mainland people will be known.

How do i confirm this fiim is available in China? Watch the film on iQIYI and get a screenshot?

The vip member of iQIYI can watch the film for free, regular member can watch 6 minutes for free. I watch the film for 6 minutes, there are no error messages.
