Chi-raq -- A modern day adaptation of the ancient Greek play Lysistrata by Aristophanes, set against the backdrop of gang violence in Chicago -- was quickly ushered out of production and got virtually no screenings because noone at the time wanted to showcase the violence of Chicago.
But the KKK, well, you can show that shit all day. Clicks and eyeballs.
That said, Spike Lee's best is still Chi-raq or The 25th Hour, when he put 9/11 in your face and everyone trembled...

Barely started the movie, noticed Trump in the sub. Have a feeling this is more of that snowflake never-trump nonsense. Not the award he won in what the eighties with ali and parks? Like the movie/story of Tombstone. Saw a docu that claims the poor murdering Cowboys were "gunned down" by the law dogs. Forensically? Take a knee because you cannot go gangsta and defy the popo. Nazi stormtroopers marching against removal of historic statues and the brainiacs decide to poke the bear? And both sides funded by the Nazi soros? Seems more and more the poor bad people are supposed to be protected and get a walk. SMFH
