Thoroughly enjoyable movie set in Sydney in 1959. Mainly focuses on three female sales assistants. It shows Australia as little paradise (obviously it wasn't). Great watching the cars, trams, etc and of course the fashions of the era.

Good to see no swearing or sex which is quite rare these days.

Only problem I had with it, a couple of the actors didn't do their homework when it came to accents. Two men (immigrants) from Hungary sounded more french than Hungarian. (my mother is Hungarian and still has a heavy accent) so I picked it up straight away. It was a little annoying but had a good laugh as well)

The other thing I noticed was the service in the department stores.... No such thing as service anymore. You're lucky to find a sales assistant to help.
