This Dickens adaptation - released in two three-hour parts in 1987 - seems to have been pretty much forgotten. I have never seen it, and have heard wildly conflicting opinions about it, with some saying it's one of the great films of Dickens' work, others that it's a slog to sit through. It certainly has an interesting cast and I admire the ambition. I would love to hear opinions of any on here who have seen it - it's a hard film to track down, but I'd like to give it a shot if I can find it.
