An Italian contributor previously argued the opposite. What I said back then still stands:

I don't know how to properly access Amazon Prime Italia. "The Catcher Was a Spy" is used here, but the Italian page here uses Il ricevitore è la spia (though badly formatted).

Do you have access to the film? Which title is used in the opening of the Italian version?

The opening of the movie has no title on video, anyway other writings (such as the intro explanation of the story) is in English with subtitles, so it is not helpful. The Italian distributor of this movie is Amazon Prime Video, and their page title is totally in Italian. Also Wikipedia page writes the title only in Italian, although I don't count too much on some Wikipedia sources. IMDB says that the title is in Italian like Prime Video page: "Il ricevitore è la spia": https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4602066/ By the way, I found the website of Italian translation/adaptation and dubbing company "Studio ASCI", they stand only on the English title: https://studioasci.com/asci-produzioni_the-catcher-was-a-spy/ At this point, who knows?
