Such a strange film this is. A full-blooded attempt to transform the Tintin comics into live action - the actors are remarkably similar in appearance to their counterparts in the books, none less than Jean-Pierre Talbot's Tintin, who looks like he stepped right off the page.

It's not a perfect film by a long shot, but it is an enjoyable and interesting one which probably deserves to be better known - and full marks for the dedication of those filmmakers.
