Did the timeline get changed?

At the end of the movie where the classmates are picking their teams for dodge-ball , was that current timeline (in other words the 2nd time that happened) or, did time back up enough so that it was his first time being picked for doge-ball?

I don't think any flashbacks are implied. This scene occurs after the rest of the movie.
