Ok, I'm a huuuge fan of Jackie Chan. I've seen most of his movies, and almost all of them I would rate about 1 point higher than the average.

In addition, I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, and I usually rate them higher than the average as well.

But this movie is simply a piece of trash, and a complete waste of time. I give it a generous 3/10. And given my two rules above, that would make it a 1/10 for ordinary people. But somehow it has over 5 on average.

If you read the user reviews around the web, most people who give it a good score seem to be doing it 1) after reading other people's reviews, and 2) because it stars Jackie Chan. Both of these are a problem, because it seems as if they "swoop in" to protect their beloved hero.

But for goodness sake, let the man know when he makes a terrible movie, or he'll just continue making them like this garbage, instead of giving us a glimpse of what once made him so great.
