Seems rather unfunny

I'm about halfway through the movie and it seems like something of an exaggeration to call this a comedy. Who knows maybe it will pick up during the second half, but if previous experiences with similarly unfunny movies have taught anything...well....it will not. Not entirely sure whom exactly is this even aimed towards? Seems like it is trying hard to pamper the millennial SJW crowd while slipping in the occasional tired sex and drug "joke". I guess they were trying to cover all bases. The movie kind of reminds me of another stinker that tried doing the same called "The Spy who dumped me", which was also marketed as a comedy, but the only feeling of joy that movie ever brought anyone was when the credits finally rolled in.
edit: Captain's log July 22 2019 : finally managed to sit this piece of garbage to the end, and as suspected it does not get any better during the second half and if anything it's probably even worse than the first half, which is a feat in itself because there was nothing funny in the first half. If you want a movie shoving the whole SJW feminist agenda up your throat than this might be up your alley, but if you want something that is actually funny than you are better looking elsewhere.

I can't stand either of the leads, and what's with that name "Fred Flarsky?" Is that someone's idea of a regular guy name? It's not even a real name.
The dick and drug jokes are courtesy Rogan, I am sure. That's his tired-ass trademark.

Hey, if you aren't jaded or angry to begin with you most likely will be if you watch this movie. It's just horribly bad and unfunny. I'm trying to suffer through it in 15 minute segments and still it seems like it lasts an eternity and I still have about 30 minutes to go.
MongoLloyd I think the name "Fred Flarsky" kind of fits the whole theme of the movie - they thought something was really hilarious and stuck in the movie. To the rest of us it just sounds stupid and is as unfunny as the rest of this movie.

I like this line. I would argue you could rephrase 'If you aren't jaded and angry in general, your standards are far too low.'
