how long was he stranded? it seem like quite a long time, how come nobody was looking for him?
what are the odds someone flying helicopter in Arctic not speaking at least basic English?
when he tried to pull her up the steep hill why not use the other cargo already up as leverage I the other side to make it easier? also you could see on the left much easier less steep path, why not go through there?
it was OK, but despite short runtime it was dragging, weaker version of castaway (judging just the island part)

Don't stress too much over any of that - the movie was basically riddled with nonsense like that. Still a good effort, with great cinematography. :)

The ending didn't make sense for me. It carried many signs of a good movie, like tension building with the bear, water being an issue, two potential rescues missed, and both characters wounded. But what the heck was the last scene? Where did that other chopper come from? Why don't we hear it coming as if it's suddenly conjured out of the air? What is the message? I thought they were going to die, and that this was a different take on a survival topic and which was really interesting and nice, but "oh hey here comes the rescue chopper in the last scene yay". Way to ruin an ending anti climatically.

I was under the impression it was the same chopper that had circled around but the camera didn't follow it. you don't like happy endings?

I thought about it being the same chopper but wasn't the color different? The one that landed far was blueish and the one at the end was a bit yellowish? I may be wrong on that. It could be the same chopper, I'm not sure and I can't check it anymore. But if it is the same chopper, then the ending becomes a little nicer because it somewhat makes sense they had to circle around for some reason. More tension building, some kind of final twist. I sure like happy endings but a non-happy ending for a survival movie would be interesting don't you think? I thought they aimed at that first.
I hope it is the same chopper, I will just assume that it is and the movie becomes a lot nicer xD
