You don't need to watch WandaVision. Maybe there would be nods to it but overall you can follow the story fine without it.
I didn't like it at first, but it got better as it went along. Honestly can't remember the first Dr Strange, these Marvel movies are starting to blend into each other! But I think this one will stand out a bit because of the horror elements.
