I liked the twist. At the same time there did seem to be something wrong with just about everything throughout the movie...so it kept me guessing.

She was there to make him feel good...nothing more.

This film made no sense at all and the "twist" was telegraphed from the beginning. These films are meant to make you "think" - the only problem is that there is no logical thought process put into it - they would have done better to have left the entire mystical element out of it - it would have made for a much more interesting film if the hero had been caught in the dilemma described in the normal way.

I can't argue with that. Yea, if everything was like in real life, the twist would have been a really huge surprise.

With a cast of this level they could certainly do better. In the end it's a huge disappointment. How did they get McConaughey, Hathaway and Lane to participate in this nonsense?

Reading the Wikipedia spoilers for the film would make someone feel violated let alone having to actually to watch it.

I would agree the violation comes without any spoiler alert whatsoever. I liked the movie and it's twist at the end...after all; it's just a movie.
