I found a book that covers the Planet of the Apes, titled Timeline of the Planet of the Apes, and it lists the telefilms (page 254) and the episodes that they were edited from. Since each of the titles you have reported were edited together from previous episodes of the television series, I believe they meet our guidelines for the video tag. I'm going to close the reports attached to the other Planet of the Apes titles.

On the basis of this decision I marked all of the films in the "Adventures of Young Indiana Jones" series as video. I was then contacted by a moderator who is unsure whether films that are edited together from previously released material should be marked as video. Can you confirm whether this standard applies to all such films?

There's no substantive difference between the Young Indiana Jones films and these Apes films. They're all cut together from previously released episodes of their respective TV shows, with some newly filmed material added, and then released as films. The only difference is these went to TV and the Indy films went to home video.
