Same. It's bizarre how bad the reviews are.

I loved it for the most part. However, I didn't like the ending, mostly because it was overly complicated. He could have simplified it a ton and still had the same results, but would have been more satisfying. Instead, I just ended up saying WTF alot.

Yeah, the Society seemed like an after thought and thrown in there for convenience. Hardly a "twist" if that's what M.Night was going for. I also didn't like that David died so cruelly for a "good guy"(drowning..a slow death) and leaving his still young son parentless. Other then that it WAS a good trilogy and Glass was the best of the 3 IMO.

I felt the same. I didn't care that the two psychos died, but David's death saddened me. I hoped in vain Dr. Staple and her associates would pay for his murder.

I liked Glass more and more as I kept getting deeper into the movie. Didn't like the 2nd of the three, however I would really like to see that first one from about 20 years ago...that one looks really good.

Frankly i would liked it better if James McAvoy and Bruce Wallis just beat each other to death and just have Mr Glass die of his injuries from when the beast went off on him. Instead of this BS about drowning Bruce Willis in a tiny pool of water. And all this secret society crap. I mean really, come on. Other than that i liked it.

Ummm...I'm no comic book expert, but from the film it was pretty clear that that was part of his origin story. (Shhhhh...)

Not knowing what the actual comics say (see my post above), I thought the film did a pretty good job of demonstrating unintended consequences. As Dr. Staple said, they don't see themselves as bad guys, but folks who are trying to uphold order for the sake of society-at-large. Of course, the status quo is always benefiting someone. Anyway, I thought her monologue about their motivations, followed by Mr. Glass' monologue about them losing (due to his own interpretations of their motivation), was fairly compelling.

Well i im not really that pissed about the secret society stuff. But for David Dunn, i just wish he had gone out in a more heroic manner than drowning in a puddle. And in someways i wish the movie had focused more on Dunn. Even tho i did enjoy watching Elijah manipulate the Horde/Beast. If Mr Shyamalan wants make up to me. He could make a prequel movie about what Dunn has been up to all these years. But from what i understand. He not interested in making any more movies based on this little movie universe he made.

Yeah, I would have loved more of Dunn's character, especially after seeing the first film.

The experience of this series was interesting as I originally saw Unbreakable knowing it was a superhero movie but being utterly disappointed in the pacing/plotline. At the end I was super frustrated that "we just got to the good stuff" and then it was over. In researching my grievance, I found out (if I'm remembering correctly) that they intended to shoot a regular three act story but got so caught up in the first act that they realized they had too much they wanted to do. This led to them presuming they could make the following two films, but it didn't happen right away. For me, by the time Split came out I had no awareness that it was a sequel to Unbreakable. So the ending was a real shock to me. For all those reasons, Glass was a nice wrap up of the--what--almost 20 year saga?

Secret Society of the 3 leaf clover? Can anyone say part 4?

I don't know, where would it go from there?

The next superman that needs to be destroyed and covered up?
Or the destruction of the secret society? Remember mr glass exposed them...

Wish the OP would correct his spelling of "Trilogy" on the subject line! Hate getting alerts on this with that crap misspelling! angry

Looks to be corrected now.
