Bit disappointing this one. Granted you can't really expect too much from a Dwayne Johnson vehicle which looked to be batting off a sticky Die Hard vs The Raid wicket but it was just lacking something.

Didn't get the weird unnecessary opening showing some dude holding his own family hostage and presumably killing / badly maiming them. It's pitched as a family fun, watch The Rock kill the baddies sort of movie, so why have watching kids introduced to the concept of being murdered by their own parents? 🤔 Didn't seem particularly necessary in the grander scheme of things.

Other than that, the biggest issue was that it just wasn't particularly much fun. Very much a painting by numbers affair. Very flat viewing experience...
