Discuss Happy Death Day

This movie was exactly how I thought it was going to be. Just like "Groundhog Day" (1993,) but with a little bit of horror and mystery built into it. Lots of fun because it 100% met my expectations, that and a couple extra surprises at the end.

I usually hate and want nothing to do with the time loop genre and having read the plot spoilers this film has done nothing worthwhile in that regard, the scream franchise was the height of slashers this film sounds like hot garbage repackaged quite literally for fools.

Obviously you didn't like nor ever saw Groundhog Day. I understand however if you don't like time loop movies; I do, and I also really like movies with time travel.

I enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun (especially when she started getting used to it). It had good pacing, lots of funny moments, and very self aware. It's a good time.

I agree. I liked it a lot. It was a fun little movie.

I completely agree. Jessica Rothe made this movie for me. She is so charismatic and full of personality. She made the movie heaps of fun and enjoyable.

spot on. Movie was awesome as it didnt take itself too seriously and it kept things interesting while still being a groundhog day style film.

Considering it was glossy and tame it was far more entertaining than it had any right to be. I thought the twist was completely unnecessary, but up until that point it was very fun.

I liked the twist.
