Overview

Annie Oakley, una modesta pueblerina, es aficionada a cazar codornices, que luego vende en el pueblo. Un día tiene la ocasión de medir su puntería con el rifle desafiando en una apuesta a Toby Walker, el tirador más diestro del Oeste, que acaba de ser fichado para el espectáculo itinerante del célebre Búfalo Bill. Aunque Annie pierde voluntariamente la apuesta, sus habilidades llaman la atención del manager de Búfalo Bill, que también contrata a la chica. Empiezan las circenses exhibiciones y la rivalidad entre Annie y Toby, que en realidad no será tal, pues ambos se han enamorado.
