The Land Unknown týraly talqylaý

The dinosaur walking around this movie. It's head was supposed to be later used as the head of Spot, the Munsters' pet dragon, on the original Munsters series. Check the movie out and an ep of the TV show and see if you see the resemblance between the two props. Spot's head is never seen clearly on the Munsters. Just in somewhat darkness. Is it really the very same prop or just an identical copy? In the Greek Septuagint version of the Bible book of Genesis dinosaurs are practically outright referred to as being created on Day 5. Man on day 6. (Reptiles and thus before man like science shows!)The Sep. says how reptiles came from the water. When YEC's (Young earth creationists) try to mention dinosaurs being in the Bible they strangely never, ever speak of the Greek version of Genesis. They YEC's usually talk of a creature called Leviathan that is mentioned elsewhere in the Bible.

Says right in the Septuagint Genesis that reptiles came from the water on day 5. Dinosaurs directly came from creatures who came from the water.Aristotle ,in the 300's BC, had already made his classification of reptiles. The Greek Ptolemaic dynasty of Egypt was running the country in the 200's BC when the Septuagint was drawn up. Just about every translation of the Septuagint Genesis book calls the creatures created on day 5 reptiles. They are before man in creation.Agrees with science. The YEC's should use the Septuagint to prove Bible scientific accuracy for dinosaurs instead of the Leviathan.

It is possible dinosaurs were born in extremely shallow water. Alligators are reptiles look how much they have to do with water, Point: dinosaurs could have themselves come from very shallow areas of the sea. Bible looks accurate again!

There's no mention of dinosaurs in The Bible, anywhere outside of that Creationist museum that's located somewhere in BumF--k USA

Hey, that's BumFu*k Kentucky USA Mech!

Look. The odds of the Bible not having God-given scientific accuracy are way, way less than zero to one for this and hundreds of other scientific reason . YEC's, though pitching God's definite creation, are flawed. They often ignore the Septuagint (the very Bible the disciples of Christ used!). They try too hard to establish that man did not have a very long God-less past in how he worshiped thus they try to make the whole world out to be like 10,000 years old. Other flaws on their part!

I have to ask you something Mech. Do you have a twin that has access to your account here? Because sometimes your posts are intelligent & thoughtful but other times you seem like you are a 12-year-old boy.

Speaking from a literary standpoint alone.... No The fifth day was spent creating creatures of the sea and things that fly, particularly birds. The sixth was spent creating humans and all animals that dwell on land. Had the ancients know of the existence of dinosaurs, they likely would've drawn distinctions between fifth day Dinos(plesiosaurs and pterodactyls), and Sixth Day lizards which roamed on land, like the T-Rex and the Brontosaurus

For the record, I'm what many might call an apatheist(though I don't much care for the term), who's been known to pray in times of distress, and who practices mindfulness and enjoys learning about different religions, even though I have no desire to practice any particular one of them. Twisting our minds into knots with these turgid attempts to "prove" that The Scriptures are scientifically accurate(despite the fact that the authors of The Bible almost certainly didn't intend for them to used in such a fashion)does nothing more than cheapen faith, rather than enrich it

Speaking from a literary standpoint... yes. The Greek Septuagint mentions reptiles on Day 5 in Genesis.

Holy books and creeds from Hindu, Buddhist and other faiths (plus pagan myths) do not have the great scientific accuracy of the Bible. Sometimes the formers have a little bit of history attached but that is far, far less proving anything. And their history BTW is really imperfect. Bible has tons of correct history.

Bible says the head caused our body growth. It does . (See my previous postings.) Bible says water erodes rock. It does. No one is twisting anything.

Everyone, when something works you stick to it.If a doctor keeps curing every last sick patient who comes to him after a while people would usually tend to come to trust in that doctor for medical skills. Sensible! Now, if someone keeps predicting things and they keep coming true after a while you would learn to have trust in what that person says. Yes?( Bible makes predictions apparently and some of them like Israel and the EU have come true. But overall predictions are not the main reason to believe in the Good Book. Science is.) Well, the Bible's statements about nature keep turning out to be true. The Bible history also is turning out to be flawless but that still alone would not be reason enough to believe religiously in the Bible--not the history all by itself. The science alone OTOH is reason enough to believe in the Holy Bible and thus God. The excellent history just compliments it.

Butch Patrick of the Munsters I think stated that they got the dinosaur head for Spot from the props of an old Universal movie. Al Lewis maintained that he and Fred Gwynne designed Spot's prop for the show. Lewis later also stated what did Butch Patrick remember about the show's making. He was 12 at the time!

That link shows that reptiles (aka dinosaurs) are indeed referred to in Septuagint Genesis Chapter 1 verse 20.

In the ancient world Galen the physician thought the pituitary gland had another purpose. He and the ancient world outside of the God-inspired bible writer St. Paul had no knowledge the PG caused body growth.
