The movie is pretty silly and not very well made. I read that it took 6 days to shoot, and it looks it.

Still, it's a fun, if mindless, hour and a bit.

But my oh my, those skirts. And the women who wear them are gorgeous. A lot of chorus type girls you see in movies from the early days of film are often sort of chubby by todays standards. That includes the dancers, who you'd expect to be really fit. That's not a criticism, just an observation that standards of beauty change. But the three speaking female actors look really modern; even more modern than the women in Star Trek TOS which came 15 years later and whose wardrobe was inspired by this movie.

This must have been the closest thing to porn a teenage boy could see in 1951.
