Predictable but pleasant ending

I liked the message of everything happens for a reason. Though, I don't know how they could have made the story less predictable.

It's one of those things where it doesn't really matter. It's just like the guy always gets the girl at the end. We all know it's coming, but it's all about how they get there. A very enjoyable movie

I agree. It's a common scenario, but it's how they get there that's unique.
