The perfect film?

Obviously, there can never be an objectively perfect film. For me, this one comes close. It has everything in it. Beautiful music, great characters and a moral, that stays with you. It's also a film that resonates throughout your life. From child to adult, you will always get something out of this film.

I agree. Whenever I think of the best made movie I've ever seen, Mary Poppins is always the first one to pop into my head.

Wow. I totally disagree. As an adult, I find this to be almost unwatchable. I remember liking it as a kid... IMO it needs to be edited so it's 40 minutes shorter. I much prefer The Sound Of Music, My Fair Lady, Oliver!, and about a thousand other films more...

Well, opinions do tend to differ from time to time.
Think I'll go with kinda okay with the sound turned off.
Guess that just goes to show that you have to take the bad reviews with a grain of salt and the good ones with a teaspoon of sugar, right?
