I enjoy Ollie and Stan each having a beautiful non-frumpy wife who is clearly out of their league. Mae Busch, as Lottie Hardy, and Dorothy Christy, as Betty Laurel, are terrific and perfect as the wives. Busch played Ollie's wife also in other L&H films, while this was the only movie in which Christy played Stan's wife.

Of the two actresses, Busch is a particular treat - and entirely believable. On one hand her Lottie is a doting wife and caring and considerate - yet Ollie had better not push his luck with her or else! Busch's acting is spot-on. I love whenever she gets her dander up!
