Discuss Ghostbusters

Bill Hader and and Kevin Hart are ideal choices if you wanted men but if you wanted women Ariel Winter but if it was made in the 90's Janeane Garofalo.

Someone male or female that is more a straight actor than comedy. Or if comedy more offbeat comedy not the funny haha type. Hader is good as long as long as he holds in the mugging. For female I think like an Aisha Tyler or Aubry Plaza. None of them would sell a lot if tickets by themselves but the GH concept is the star. Play it straight and the story works better. I am thinking like a Brooklyn 99 cast.

It's always better to go with a mixed sex cast like Brooklyn 99.

You don't need to be from SNL to be a Ghostbuster.

Who should've been the Ghostbusters ideally

No one. The fact that 98% of all those who walk the planet today either don't remember, or are completely oblivious to the existence of Ghostbusters II, was a warning sign in bright neon letters to any producer who was contemplating dusting this not-quite-franchise off for rehash: DON'T!!!! You'll rake in more dough at the box office with a reboot of Missing In Action, starring Ed Westwick as Braddock, and relocating the adventure's setting Afghanistan , rather than Vietnam
