Just saw this is coming to PBS on March 26th!! Very excited. I watched a very old (70s) mini series just a short time ago and thought their story deserved a fresh take. So glad I subscribe to the PBS newsletter! LOL

It's a very good film drama of the Brontë family. Women then were considered as wives and mothers, never as writers, with the exception perhaps of Jane Austen. I enjoyed watching it.

For some reason I was expected a min series... well anyway, it was enjoyable but had to turn on closed caption to understand some of the characters... especially the actress that played Emily. She spoke so fast. Such a tragic story... I would have loved to see a more detailed account from when they were younger through Charlotte's later life.
Spoiler alert:
My favorite part was when they went to meet the publishers... so good.

I saw a mini series on Acorn done in the 70s called The Brontes of Hayworth : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069568/ (not in the data base here?) ava on Acorntv if you have it. If you don't and like British stuff, it is only $5 a month and they have a free 30 day trial...
Just checked and I don't think its on there anymore...

I am not sure if the require age info or real name, you can def put whatever age you want... and name too. I think all they really require is an email. Only stayed in contact with a few but not close contact and no they don't, wouldn't want to know anyway.
