...pissing and moaning about the latest Spiderman/Bladerunner/Whatever Hollywood bullshit (as is very common on this site), try something a little different and check this out. You won't have to worry about Deckards wardrobe or what time-line an X-Men character fits in, but you might enjoy a pretty good low-key story about an average man seeking justice where he doesn't just kill everyone just because they're a bad guy but uses them to dig into his family's past... It's at times a brutal, other times gentle, but ultimately satisfying in its conclusion.

Afterthought; If you like Harry Brown, you'll appreciate this film but it's strength lies in the actors - nobody particularly famous - whom you don't feel like you're watching 'actors' (because let's face it, most of them are just massively hamming it up - Benedict Cumbernatch springs to mind...), there's a natural calm to the character Donal who's out for revenge and the actress playing the main protagonist Frankie is very convincing as a woman you'd be shitting yourself to cross with or without a barrel at her face...
