I now kinda feel that the Sam Raimi-directed Spider-Man 2 is my favorite of all of them, even though Kirsten Dunst makes me feel a bit blah as MJ. It has great emotion in it, and wow, what a villain.
However, some of the story's dynamics are really accentuated by the filmmakers making the main characters much younger people, and that's cool. You really feel the rivalry between Pete and Flash, for example. And as I'm sure I've stated here before, Spider-Man is Marvel's baby, and therefore, no one can do him better than they can!

Thanks for that clip, wonder! That's the very scene I was referring to as far as the "great emotion." Spidey is this Christ-like figure in it, ha ha. They did something similar to that in Homecoming too, but Raimi's film really brought that feeling home.
Doc Ock is a really good villain... very relatable! You see his fall, and you understand exactly why he becomes bad. 2 thumbs up!!

Visually, this flick is very good! It just trumps Homecoming.
