SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
Mannnnnn, wanted to get people's opinion on that "ending"...
It actually ticked me and my teens off...granted, Mysterio got the last laugh (deservedly so..Jake was GREAT in the role), but telling the world Spidey is Peter Parker?!?! How do you GO FORWARD with that? The poor boy from Queens is gonna have a tough time shedding that in future movies! I HATE that the filmmakers went with that..honestly. If you feel differently, feel free to chime in.
And the after credit scene revealing...Fury's "identity"...also LAME!
If your care to counter my opinions..do so without the name calling (you know who you are)...thanks!!!!

Nick Fury wouldn't have any problem fixing ghe whole "Peter is Spiderman" mess considering he's pals with shape changing aliens who could impersonate Peter so he and Spiderman could appear in public together a few times. It seems like the easy way out, though and maybe if the script writers couldn't think of a better resolution.

Mysterio framing Spider-Man is exactly what happened In Mysterio's first appearance in the comics.
And some villain or other exposing the hero's "secret identity" has been a comics staple since the Golden Age, it is hardly radical new ground.
I thought the ending was fantastic, a truly amazing cliffhanger.

Nick Fury being a Skrull was already pretty obvious as they hinted at it during Captain Marvel when he said he can't eat a sandwich cut diagonally, which he did in Age of Ultron. So all I said when they revealed it was, "I knew it!"

You really think the Skrulls have been impersonating Fury for that long? How long will it be before someone suggests that we've never seen the real Nick Fury before now?

We'll have to see (possibly in a future Captain Marvel movie). However, there's another inconsistency that can be explained if Nick Fury has been a Skrull for a while, like the picture of him and Alexander Pierce where Nick still has both eyes in Winter Soldier.

I feel like there's a Captain Marvel spoiler in here, but I can't stand Jude Law and that's honestly keeping me away from that movie.
Other than that, loved the ending to this. Great cliff hanger.

How did Spider-Man solve the problem in the comics you mentioned?

Mysterio used his illusions to make it appear that Spider-Man did a museum robbery with Mysterio stepping in as the "hero" who stopped him. Spider-Man tricked Mysterio info confessing to the robbery in a conversation he was secretly recording.

Good thinking, but... framing someone in a crime and revealing one's secret identity are different things. Tricking someone into confessing he framed you is far easier than convincing the entire public that the revealation of your identity was false.
What did Spiderman do when his secret identity was revealed (by any of his enemies, not necessarily by Mysterio) in the comics?

U didn't say Mysterio revealed Spider-Man's identity, I said that he framed Spider-Man for crimes he himself committed, just as he did in Far From Home.
In the comics, the only time Spider-Man's identity became public was in Civil War, when be revealed himself voluntarily. This was undone a few years later when Spider-Man made a seriously WTF deal with Mephisto (who is basically the MCU devil).
There have been several close calls, however. The most famous is probably when Spider-Man fought the Sinister Six when he had a cold and quickly got beaten. They tore his mask off and saw he was just some dumb teenager, they then concluded that he must not be the real Spider-Man, and that was why he was so easy to beat.

I did hate both end credits scenes. Part of the fun of Spiderman is him trying to keep his identity a secret and leading a double life. But as rvcanuck pointed out, it is easily reversible with the Skrulls now in the picture. So I don't mind that one so much now.
But the second one with the Skrulls impersonating Nick Fury for the whole film. That was just pointless and undid all the Parker/Fury character dynamic developed through much of the film.
I really don't like that they now have three claw marks down Fury's missing eye now. I haven't checked it out but I'm pretty sure he didn't previously have those marks in any film before Captain Marvel. You'd think after fan reaction to how he lost his eye that they'd want to distance themselves from such a terrible idea rather than have a constant reminder.
