I won't get into whether or not it's a good movie; I suppose that depends on your taste.

What is not debatable, however, is the fact that this is NOT in any way, shape or form a comedy.

The premise hints at potential comedy, but absolutely no hilarity of any kind ensues, trust me. I don't mean bad jokes or failed comedy, that's obviously a matter of opinion; I mean there are no actual attempt at jokes or even comical situations. Cringeworthy, awkward situations, yes -- plenty; but not in a funny way. In addition there's a genuinely depressing undertone throughout the whole thing, due to the main topics of dialogue and background being (first and foremost) cancer, animal abuse and environmental crimes. Good times...

I suppose the producers thought it would be easier to market it as a comedy, but I'm fairly certain that will backfire.
