So we seem to list this type of movie positively as does hollywood, why no Romance genre?
In fact it was deleted by mod.

About the FR poster above. I understand we make exception for "film festival" logos/watermarks.
However this American college took a FR poster and added their logo.

Thanks for your report!
If you mean this poster:

That's a French poster -> read the billing block! The movie was released under this title in France:
https://www.condor-films.fr/film/come-as-you-are
"Come As You Are" was also used as a previous title for a few English language screenings at festivals -> that's why I added it as an English alternative title!
I've seen the movie, I wouldn't call it a romance -> in opposition to the official press material everywhere. But that's a subjective opinion - maybe it should be added? I won't change it - another moderator has to if she or he wants to.

Ah, now I understand what you mean! Do you have any proof for your claim?

Besides the poster in FR by lineker?
And I have not seen, nor have any plan to see this type (genderx/third gender pseudoscience) of movie (despite Chloe) but it just seems a little homophobic to not list a movie with lesbian lovers as a romance?

I mean for your claim that "this American college took a FR poster and added their logo"? How does the poster that lineker uploaded prove the actions of this college?
Anyway, I think you are indeed correct about this poster being wrong! Because, weirdly enough, the event at Bay College was advertised with the English title The Miseducation of Cameron Post on Facebook and the Ticket thingy:
https://www.facebook.com/events/526339507776042
https://baycollege.tix.com/Event.aspx?EventCode=1092904
So, this event didn't use the title "Came As You Are" at all -> except for the poster. I could swear I saw a different poster with a list of more festival screenings/dates under this name a few weeks ago -> but I'm unable to find it right now and I think I made a mistake. I removed the alternative title again and also the poster for now -> because it seems highly likely it's not an official poster. Until proven otherwise.
So you add genres and keywords to movie entries you don't watch? How do you know what a movie is about when you don't watch it? How do you know which parts of a synopsis are spoilery and relevant when it comes to the actual movie - if you don't watch it?
What if it turns out they're not lesbian lovers? Or what if the movie isn't really about the relationship of them? Or what if something bad happens to them over the course of the movie? Think of movies like Boy's Don't Cry, Circumstance, or The Kids Are Alright. All 3 of them focus on LGTB couples, but they're not romances at all.
However, as I wrote above, it's very subjective in this case -> I guess it depends on how someone defines a romantic movie. This one is just not very romantic to me - and you would understand if you'd care to watch.

Well common sense, IMDB and your subject.
So if they were just mucking around in the lesbian scene, why was deprogramming needed?
Seems if they made such a big deal that they wrote a novel and made a movie, it must be more?
Guess maybe IMDB and I are reaching and lesbians require no emotion. Thought that was the whole reason to dump men?
And your new overview states Two-Spirit. You do realize that is third gender/genderX?
And coincidentally right after my last post, moonbeam the gov of calif, forced CA DMV to change DL and application.
Your new choices are M/F/X (X being nonbinary). And the X choice is completely self proclaimed/no proof.

And don't get me wrong, I'm with you.
But when I edit TMDB, I try to be centered.
Pretty sure when the IMDB editor added pseudoscience key, they were referring to a rogue therapist and religious fanatic yelling at a lesbian.
But that is not science or pseudoscience. IMHO
So it works the other way too.

I haven't yet watched the movie. But, for what it's worth, I recently read the book and I would be extremely surprised to learn this one qualifies as a romantic movie.
