I know the ship has long since sailed and this has been criticized for some time now... but (and I still haven't seen this!) Midi-chlorian Count Jnr hadn't ever seen the original so we watched it the other night. Then with the songs firmly stuck in mind, I searched on YouTube leading to seeing the following:-

Why?!!! There. Is. No. Soul! Why on Earth did they bother making this? I know Disney gets a lot of criticism for lacking creativity but this must stand up as the absolute zenith of their empty milking money operation.
