Discusión El rey león

To much hate has been spreading around for a Wonderful classic. Lion King is literally and always been my favorite disney movie. The stuff I have ready about "Soulless" and stuff is ridiculous. I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion but just trashing and insulting a classic made into a movie that honestly looks amazing is shameful and seems to be misleading and trying to get less people to watch. Honestly I recommend everyone watch this and make it the #1 disney movie and show these critics that this movie deserves the praise. These days I think judging movies on your own opinion over reading critical reviews (which most times are negative) is the best way to go.

Did you create an account just to post that?

How do you figure am I not allowed to speak my mind? I am a movie buff and love all movies. Don't see why u got a issue with my opinion but thanks for reading 😂👍

I was simply asking a question, no issues.

All good bro. Just hope the movie still does well sorry to get in defense mode 😋

And yet you haven't rated the movie! Why is that?

Just did thanks for reminding me grinning

Just thought my vocal opinion would be important but thanks @bratface

Pringo, if you can't see that Disney is simply remaking ALL their animated movies for the sake of printing their own money (because, you know, Marvel, Star Wars & Pixar wasn't enough to do so), then you must be just like every other blind Disney sheep out there! As you see, Mulan & Little Mermaid are next..coincidence?! thinking

At first I was interested, as Lion King IS arguably my favorite of the new animated Disney "Golden Age" which started with Little Mermaid..but then seeing its just a retelling of the story that was done PERFECTLY in the original..through my preferred method of animation...nah, I'm good!

I'm sure you'll be seeing it thrice! Enjoy Mr. Sheep!

Appreciate your opinion and of course everyone is entitled. But I really do appreciate your feedback also. I'll always gladly be a sheep to the lion king but rather be a lion so rawr haha...not bahhh lol

haha..sheep...lion...I see what you did there! laughing

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well, the 1994 one was my favorite Disney movie, and perhaps my favorite animated movie, but I don't need this one, just like how I didn't need another Jumanji, Aladdin, Dumbo, etc. I've got the Lion King VHS tape from eons ago, so I am good with that.

Pringo, I had created an account on here to talk about a movie I enjoyed that people wanted to destroy also and received much of the same backlash you seem to. I realized those who comment on this site are negative and criticize those who enjoy them. It's a shame because the site is so well put together and has so much potential. I think if those who are on here were more positive and entertained dialogue rather than criticize those who actually enjoy the movies, it might have more people willing to get involved.

Yep, and they'll continue doing it until people stop watching them. Surely this is Capitalism at work?

Making a load of money isn't an indicator of quality, but the fact that - for the most part - they are making money shows that people want to see their output.
