The Teaser with Will Smith as Genie...BARF!!

I know the Mouse House has a lot of blind followers, but this movie so far looks like PURE garbage...and the reveal of Genie...I seriously was gagging at the awfulness! And its looking like others are reacting the same judging from the comments

As of 2/11/19, the YT teaser has 2K more dislikes than likes. Unfortunately, I doubt that it will have any effect on the hordes of parents, desperate to use popcorn, Milk Duds, and a big, blue Will Smith to get a break from their kids for two hours as they reminisce about seeing the animated version 27 years ago. It's gonna make money, like it or not.

I think jafar looks like and sounds like a teenager going through puberty. Jasmine looks bland and the genie looks like an avatar Will Smith

Maybe my expectations were different, as in I didn't expect any CGI for the genie. I honestly thought he would mostly be Will Smith with very little CGI. So, I didn't think it was that bad. Now, I haven't warmed to the one line that the Jafar uttered. Not impressive, but I am not going to hang everything on a 1 minute clip and I will still go to see it. No, I am not part of the hordes of parents so "desperate to use popcorn, Milk Duds, and a big, blue Will Smith to get a break from their kids for two hours."
I really liked the Cinderella remake and loved the Beauty and the Beast live action. I loathed Maleficent. But totally respect anyone's disappointment. Don't go see it.

Dear God can we talk about Jafar sounding...like that?! Come on who told them that was a good idea? This legit looks terrible, but its only been one teaser trailer and now this one minute clip...but so far its not looking to good.
