When my kids were growing up, I'd play The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) over & over, usually in the car on mini trips. Also the ride at Walt Disney World is based on this feature...fast forward to yesterday, my kids are now 17 & 14 (the latter starting High School)...hit us right in the "feels", my 17 yr old son was touched by the story of getting older & forgetting your childhood fantasies. Its a PERFECT companion piece to the '77 film. Kudos to Disney for going with this story (& I'm usually a Disney basher since they're trying to buy out Hollywood)!

My wife loved it. She cried...I had tears in my eyes...not from the film but from the AC its cold in there. Ok it was from the film. Loved this film, really hit you in the feels for sure. It was very well made, didnt feel like it dragged on anywhere and they spent just enough time on Robins different parts of life. Plus the voice actors did a fantastic job!

I didn't get the same feeling. Though I did miss about the first 10 minutes of it or so since I was still at the concession stand at the drive-in picking up some extra treats as necessary for such an adventure. I simply got tired of Pooh acting so simple minded all the time. I guess he was always like that, but this time it got on my nerves. I felt the "Winnie the Pooh" movie from 2011 was the much better movie as the artwork reminded me as to what I saw years before.
