Discuss Ad Astra

I'm kinda disappointed.I mean this was a good movie, but there are a few things I wish were different. The whole time I was watching I was hoping he would find his father and bring him home. But that never happened. Also, the rockets they were using looked pretty much like the ones we use today, you'd think that in the future they'd have better technology. But it's possible that aliens would find the father and he's end up teaching them about his planet and they would teach him about theirs and they'd bring him home.So there is POTENTIAL for a sequel.

This is almost as bad as Prometheus.

I know this is over three years old now, but Jesus this is one of the worst reviews I‘ve ever read. So to put it swiftly, you were disappointed because the movie wasn‘t predictable and didn‘t have a generic happy ending ?? It feels like you didn‘t understand it at all, because that‘s not at all what the film was going for at any point. And why would the rockets look that different ? The movie takes place in the near future, it‘s not like rockets are designed so ineffectively that they would change drastically… Also why in the world would there be a sequel ?? This isn‘t a Marvel movie ffs. The story has been told, let it stand alone.
