Discuss Daddy's Home 2

Actually really enjoyed this. Much better than the reviews would suggest. There were a number of funny moments and the cast worked well together. It was a good holiday themed comedy.

Agreed. I think it was a nice continuation from the first.

I was just going to post what I said about "A Bad Mom's Christmas"

Comedies are suppose to be funny! They usually are till they somehow have to deal with the storyline which slows it down and makes it unfunny. Several comedies I've seen this year suffer from this same affliction.

At the same time; "Daddy's Home 2" at least had me laughing out loud a few times! Then towards the end; it started to get bad with all the singing (thank goodness there was not a dance off!) and trying to resolve what ever issues come up in the movie. I say keep the laughs coming and the story moving!

You're right. The heavier moments weigh the comedy down sometimes. But this was still a pretty good feel-good movie imo.

I forgot to mention I agree with you about the continuation from the first. They did a good job with that part.

I liked it.The ONE thing I didn't like was how Dusty was negotiating with Adriana. She should be TELLING her what to do,not talking her down. That's just bad parenting, she needs to be disciplined.

SMACK THAT KID...AND THE FLICK IS GOOD.AN EXCELLENT COMEDY,A DEEPLY FLAWED FILM.

But wasn't Adrianna's issue that Dustin didn't love her or treat her like one of his kids? At the end when he tells her he loves her you can see her face softens.
