This is the worst big budget garbage I've seen since The Adventures of Pluto Nash.
McG is a terrible, horrendous movie director.
They used an ASC guy to shoot the film of course, but I can't say that his work matched the vibe of the story completely. More than anything, it seemed awkward and just drew attention to itself.
The writing is laughable and about as cliche as it could be.
The leads had zero chemistry.
Is this actually in theaters? I give it 3 weeks before exhibitors pass on it for lack of ticket sales.

Sounds like you may have went into it with the wrong mindset.

What "mindset?" I was initially turned off by the asinine trailer, but being bored, I thought I'd take a look. Big mistake. It's garbage.

It was "garbage" to you. There's a distinction. Aaaaaand, you seem to hate the majority of what you watch.

It won't last long in theaters. Mark my words, but feel free to keep shilling.
Wait... it's not even IN theaters. My bad. It's even worse than I thought.

Really? Worse than Transformers 1-infinity, Jupiter Ascending, Gods of Egypt, Max Steel, etc? You exaggerate to much.
As a horror-comedy it was okay. I've seen better and I've seen worse.
The only thing that kind of bugged me was that the boy's face looked extremely feminine, like Sarah Snook in Predestination when she was dressed up as a dude.

I've not seen any of the movies you listed, but I admit there probably are worse films. I am a filmmaker and I watch a LOT of movies, so I've become somewhat of a prick when it comes to films. My tolerance for sh!t is very low as of late and this loses points in my view because it was helmed and lensed by a pair of a-listers.
The boy didn't strike me as having a feminine face, but oddly enough, I definitely thought his bully (the black kid) looked very feminine.

The last box office total given was a tad over $400K, which means that's all it made or that's what it made when they stopped updating the numbers. The only reason I could see for lack of follow through with box office reporting is - it tanked hard.

It was never in a theater so there is no boxoffice revenue...
Be sure to enjoy the sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen!!!

It was in theaters overseas. That number is for International Box Office. No number is given for domestic release.
