I heard some spoilers ever since the film came out but of course I wan't certain if they'd be true or false. So Rose being part of the plan was always swirling in my head from the start. Also, I heard it was a "body horror" film so those scenes kinda came and went without too much shock (but there still were tons of surprises).

The scenes when Chris finally meets the parents confused me at first due to the sub-surface racism that I spotted but wasn't sure if I understood properly. There were so many subtle looks that Chris gave, that made me wonder what racism even meant lol. A lot of it was brushed off by him and yet he still gave that "look" as if he knew how rude it was. Maybe that was the point; that racism still exists but it's hard to notice and call out because of the subtlety.

My favorite scenes were when Chris escaped and killed them off at the house. At this point I was rooting like mad :). Cathartic haha. Also when he saves the "grandmother" because he learnt to act and not sit and wait. Great character evolution imo.

What I found weird was the scene where his pal talks to the police and they didn't believe him. He showed them a photo of a missing person ffs!!! 8/10
