Discuss Get Out

So Rose was with Chris for four months before she took him back to see her folks, anyone else think that was a little long?

What if he got cold feet or got bored of her before she could lure him over? Would of been four months wasted, unless she had a back up plan!

not really. it was evident that her parents lived some distance away, as do mine. consequently, i would only take someone i was serious about to meet my parents.someone i had been seeing for a few months. added to that four months allows her time to get the men to trust her.

Yeah, if a girl wanted to take me to meet her parents right away i'd be scared too. 3 or 4 months seems like an apt amount of time.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/Tb0kPow-1D4

4 months seems short to me

I think four months seems about right for two adults who are dating. I wouldn't bring someone to meet my parents who I'd only been with for a month or two. It could end up being a waste of time.

Ha! Of all the things to say were out of place, in a movie about implanting the minds of white people into abducted and murdered black people, a four month timeframe to introduce a significant other to the parents is the discussion of this thread!

To be clear, I'm not making fun of anyone. I think you are all adorable. I just got a kick out of this conversation.
