I caught this little gem--part of John Nesbitt's Passing Parade series of short films--as a trailer after 1939's The Spy in Black on TCM. It covers three topics about how we are protected by those we probably seldom or never think of: how the postal inspectors try to protect us from scams; the Underwriters Laboratories and their safety testing methods; and how orphanages' managers screen potential adoptive parents very carefully before allowing an adoption.
