Discuss The Vault

So I went in with a open mind and was disappointed. The acting was surprisingly good. But the story...was just terrible. One of the gang member goes missing after shooting himself in the face. And no one seems to give a fuck, like oh hes with the hostages and the next minute hes gone. It was also abit predicable. Obviously Francos character was shady/something off, and than at the end you find out he was a manager back in 1982 and got killed. The killer ghost leader guy at the end was really predicable as well. Im guessing he got out of the vault/building with the money since he was attached to it. Im just guessing here. The story seems like it wasnt full complete and they just went with a idea. The problem was that the robber characters didnt act like real people. No gloves, no masks after awhile, and zero fucks given that they are getting killed one by one by ghosts!...At least Francesca Eastwood is pretty to look at. A good film if you have sometime to kill.

I agree with you. I hadn't heard of it, and now I know why. It also seemed to have "multiple" endings...almost like they shot it and didn't quite know what to do with it in post-production. Such a shame as it did have some pretty good--if not great--potential. Actors were good but dialog was stiff and behavior was confusing. Should have been better, but alas, it was not!
