Discuss แบทแมน & โรบิน

If you look at Lost Boys, Flatliners or Falling Down etc they don't look like the work of the same director. Some people say he could've made B&R better because he made those films and John Grisham but there is this thing going "Yeah but", no one seems to give him any credit for the good of those films, everything he's ever done is so different in quality, style and subject matter.

To me Flatliners, Lost Boys and Falling Down are his better films.

I can forgive Joel for B&R simply for the fact that Falling Down exists. One of the best movies ever made.

I get the feeling that Falling Down will become strangely relevant in Trump's America.

I had high hopes for Schumacher when he was announced as the director for the Batman series. Alas I found those Batman films to be unwatchable.

Thing about Joel Schumacher his biggest problem as a filmmaker is that more than often he tries too hard to come across as hip or cool, and for some reason he's off point like he's a few years behind regards to trends or he's trying too hard to be edgy (especially with a lot of his post B&R films) or topical.

He seems to only work best on small scales films dealing with real world issues, but when he's given big budgets or flashy material he goes hogwild, there been a few instances where he's trying too hard to be lighthearted like The Lost Boys and his Batman films.
