Item: The Batman

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: ‘Action’ is listed as a genre, but it’s not an action film at all. In 3 hours, there’s maybe 15 minutes of action. Should be ‘thriller’ instead. Can’t edit though, option is locked.

I agree.

Should be ‘thriller’ instead.

I would've switched "Action" for "Mystery" myself but I see your point with "Thriller."

Which one do you think works best: Crime/Drama/Thriller, Crime/Drama/Mystery, or Crime/Mystery/Thriller?

Crime/Mystery/Thriller, perhaps? I usually don’t really use the mystery one, so it’s a bit of a toss up for me.

Genres have been updated.

It IS an action film. Please add the genre again.

Is a few action sequences enough to call a movie an action movie? Still, which genre would you delete in order to add "Action?" Movies should only have a maximum of 3 relevant genres, excluding "Animation," "Documentary," and "Family."

Five minutes of action doesn’t make it an action movie, imo.

Five minutes? Seriously? Are you sure we watched the same movie? It's not about how long it is. It's about how it is spread throughout the film. No action film is 100 percent filled with only action. There are numerous action scenes in this movie to be listed, such as the opening fight, the fight with Penguin's henchmen, the fight with Catwoman, the car crash, the explosion, Batman's waking up, fighting cops, punching Gordon and using his gadgets to escape which ultimately results in a crash, the car chase, the explosion involving Alfred, Catwoman beating up a man, the entire confrontation with Falcone and the last action scene involving flooding and guns.

I know TMDb doesn't just like to listen to valid arguments, but here I am, making an appeal due to the little faith I have here. At least I have listen every single action scene there is in the film instead of just saying "if this many minutes, it is not an action film" and all that. Try to understand.

It doesn't have a "few" action sequences. It has plenty. I have listed them in the reply above to another user. And if I were to say, remove, one genre to fit the action one, I'd say go for thriller. It's more mystery than thriller and both genres share the same suspenseful and dark nature.
