いじめられっ子の高校生アダムは母と２人で暮らしていた。ある時からアダムの身の周りで不思議なことが起き始め、彼は長らく行方の知れなかった父親の謎を知るための壮大な旅に出る。そしてアダムが知ったのは彼の父親こそが他ならぬ伝説のビッグフットだということだった！ビッグフットは彼の特別なDNAを使って実験をしようとしている巨大企業ヘア・カンパニーから家族を守るため何年も森の奥深くに隠れていたのだった。最初は信じられずにいたアダムだったが、父と息子は次第に失った時を埋め始める。そしてアダムは彼にも彼の想像を超えたビッグフットのパワーが備わっていることに気づくのだった。しかし彼らはヘア・カンパニーがアダムの足跡を辿ってビッグフットに近づいてきていることに気づいていなかった......。
