I like Doug Liman, but I feel like this could have been better. I really wish it were better, sigh...

They very briefly introduce the alien/native people, and then we never see or hear of them again. Would have been really cool if the hero teamed up with them to defeat the evil mayor.

That's too bad. I was pushing my gf to see this theatrically when it opened (I missed the cinema), but kinda glad I didn't!

It's... worth watching I guess, but a lot of people had similar complaints to mine on the IMDb. The ending is fairly anti-climactic.

And what about the lack of a kiss???

I didn't even notice, but I did think it was weird that they never sort of acted on their mutual attraction.

This ladies and gentlemen is our resident cultured forum user. A space film about a woman reading minds and making dreams come true.

The movie is about people with the superpower of mind reading you know the intellectually stunted magic stuff for the kiddies something you would know about.

How did Daisy Ridley acquit herself, playing a character other than Rey?

Ugh, Star Wars. Please let it die.

Well... as someone who has never seen her in Star Wars®, I had no problem with her portrayal, although she did seem a tad wooden. And she looked mighty cute in those pants.

Well, she half smiles, takes his hand, and says "we'll show them," at the end, so there's that.

Asexuals? lol...

Hahaha, of course. Can't forget the LGBTTTQQIAA crowd, now.

Young people in the West these days have little to no social skills, so it's probably easier to just avoid normal, healthy interaction with the opposite sex, the humiliation involved, and call it "asexuality."

of course asexuality is nonsense... people are into one another or not...

Doesn't mean they know how to act on their normal, healthy impulses. Between sh!tty parenting and social media, it's no wonder the birth rate has been dropping like a rock because social skills are a thing of the past.

I can see why they'd be scared with todays vitriolic feminist atmosphere.

That too. It's far too easy to malign someone to hundreds of friends and classmates over nothing and men are all being branded rapists unless they can prove they're not, like that's not bugnuts crazy.

You can see Todd's noise, kissing her. She was even in his thoughts when asleep. Viola also saw it.
