Did the parents of the dwarves know their future personalities when they named them?

Are dwarf names are earned.
You never met their cousins Stabby, Orc-Reaver, Boozepit, Ironloins, Bloodmonger, Skullhammer, and El Muerte.

In "Once Upon a Time" they give credence to the idea that they choose their own names.
