Lin Shaye looks like a sweet lady, but I don't think she should "lead" these movies...she's not a strong enough actress.

I think there can be more in this series with Lin Shaye playing the lead. The formula is established (like a James Bond movie) and there's plenty of situations that can happen for each family having the same problem. It's kind of like watching Poltergeist.

The first one was scary and different. The others wasnt as good imo, still not bad.

I hope they don’t make anymore especially featuring Elise. Her story arc is a dead issue.

Lots if plot holes in this movie with no explanation at all. The first was the motive of the demonic spirit. What did it want? It would possess the occupants of that house, kill a random woman, keep her suitcase, hair and belongings and then what? Why did it need keys?

I think those questions is a perfect example of why 10 more movies in the series is a good idea.

I'm still too much a wuss to watch the first one! Saw the trailer and had two nightmares in the same week... I'm a full grown adult btw :/

The first Insidious is good despite of not being very special.

Both second and third movies are average to goodish.

The fourth movie is just mediocre despite some good aspects.

Now I'll watch the fifth movie in the cinemas.
