当红女歌星（李蕙敏）随剧组到一荒凉小岛上为新歌的MV拍摄取景，得到当地村长雄叔（吴志雄）的款待，导演（黎耀祥）选择海边石池作背景，及后听到村内不时传出鬼叫声，所有工作人员也吓得目瞪口呆。 随着拍摄进程的不断，剧组内开始怪事不断。当中更要雷探长（雷宇扬）出面调停他们与村民之纠纷，因为村民不满他们的装束破坏风水。剧组人员周围总会突然莫名出现一奇怪的黑衣男子（古天乐）不断打探 “阿盈”（陈松伶） 的下落。与此同时，荒山野岭内常有一长发怪人身影出没，嚎叫不断，让人毛骨悚然。 最终在炳婆的回忆中，观众和慌乱的摄制组成员以及村民，一起得知了事情的经过：村长阿南的女儿阿盈恋上城市小伙阿乐，两人情投意合，但未婚先孕让身为一村之长的阿南恼怒不已，按照村里的规矩，这可是要浸猪笼的不可饶恕之孽。于是，阿南劝女儿放弃这段感情，打掉胎儿，但阿盈始终不答应。然后的事情开始朝向悲哀，气愤的阿南叫人打死了阿乐，焚尸灭迹。绝望的阿盈也投海自尽。但俩个痴情的魂魄竟无法相见，于是长时期逗留在人间，停留在离岛上，相互寻找 。

A film crew travels to the Hong Kong countryside to make an 'MTV' show. During their stay at the village, the crew hears eerie and horrific voices during the night and witnesses a phantom roaming around the premises. In addition, some feel that their feet were being tickled while in the water performing. The villagers attest that their territory is not haunted, but an old villager, familiar with the village's past, sheds light into the mystery.
