Discuss The Death of Stalin

So from the start it's obvious this is going to be a farcical, black comedy. Even knowing that going in, it was hard to tolerate such a light-hearted view of abject cruelty and abuse. As to Communism (or any human governing endeavor) it seems to show our self-centered lies no matter the confessions we make. I can't help but see parallels with many modern political movements, especially in the west. With this too, I was unsure of the film's intent and aim. So in the end, I don't know what to think...and that either makes it a great film or a terrible one.
