Yes Holden is a bit old for the role. Yes Novak's acting is a bit limited (in keeping with the role I thought) and yes adapting from stage to film is difficult, but this did it well enough. I thought this was funny, engaging and still relevant. Of course, I disagree with just about every decision taken by every character but that is part of the fun of the film. I was tempted to give this more, but will stick with a hearty 7/10.
